EADV is foremost an academy where education is considered as the main foundation for continuing professional development in dermatology and venereology.
The EADV Learning services offer the following:
- Classroom courses
- Online Courses
- Live Webcasts
- Resources On-Demand
Classroom Courses comprise Fostering courses, Masterclasses, Summer and Winter Schools and support Continuing Medical Education (CME).
They take place all across Europe led by some of the leading experts in dermatology and venereology and are addressed to both Residents and Specialists.
The registrations are limited and follow a certain criteria. Learn more at https://eadv.org/eadv-school.
The EADV online courses offer EADV members the possibility to continue their professional development at their own pace (for example during a break at the clinic/hospital, while commuting or in the comfort of their own home).
Different courses of different length and nature, will be launched gradually in the EADV e-learning platform. In the case of being accredited by any organisation, it will be mentioned specifically in the course details.
Webcast offer the possibility to meet specialists online, bridging the gap between different actors and facilitating the exchange of scientific knowledge in order to improve professional practices.
Webcast attendees will be able to join the sessions using a computer or a mobile device. Travel is no longer a limiting factor to attend seminars.
The content included in the Resources tab will allow EADV members to learn without the need to join a formal course or attend a webinar live.
Most of the content are recordings from past classroom courses or past webcasts.

Is the learning platform restricted to EADV members?
Yes, the platform can only be accessed by EADV members.
I am an EADV member but I still cannot access the learning platform and all the courses.
The credentials to the learning platform are different from the membership area. If you are accessing it for the first time, set a new password here and follow the instructions.
I attended a live webcast but the respective course does not show as completed.
In order to track your attendance you will need to open the link of the webcast via the learning portal and sign-in to the conference tool using the same e-mail address.
In case you have not followed this process or you have not attended the whole session, the system will not change the course status to ‘Completed’.
You can request a "Change of Completion Status" by contacting us at email@example.com.
I have completed a webcast/course but I cannot find my certificate of participation/completion.
You can download your certificate by logging in to www.eadvelearning.org, accessing your ‘Completed Courses’ under ‘Dashboard’ > ‘My Courses’ and clicking the button ‘Certificate’ next to the course thumbnail.
I could not attend a live webcast. Will the recording be made available?
Most live EADV webcasts are recorded and made available in the learning platform within 2 weeks time. However, the learners will not get a certificate of attendance as they would if they attend the live session.
